Here’s what you’ll be doing
We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and driven individual eager to dive into the dynamic world of technology sales. If you are someone who thrives in high-paced environments, revels in creative problem-solving, and possesses a genuine curiosity about tech innovations — especially lasers and crafting technology — we want to hear from you.
- Acting as a liaison between curiosity and creation, you will inspire potential customers by discovering and addressing their project aspirations to guide them toward the most suitable Glowforge model.
- As part of our dedicated sales team, you'll contribute to strategic sales initiatives, ensuring high engagement and serving as a reassuring voice to prospective customers as they explore our cutting-edge designs.
- With a thorough understanding of our product offerings, you'll adeptly manage prospects in our CRM system, craft persuasive sales messages, respond to inbound inquiries, and adeptly navigate sales uncertainties through informed, empathetic dialogue.
You need these qualifications
- You’re an enthusiastic go-getter, excited about the opportunity to make impactful connections and driven by the prospect of hitting and exceeding sales targets.
- You can efficiently handle priorities, consistently focusing on daily tasks that steadily build towards achieving larger sales goals.
- You're highly motivated, self-reliant, and have completed a 4-year college degree and a minimum of 3 years in a direct sales position exceeding sales targets.
- You're experienced with CRM platforms, seamlessly guiding prospects through the sales funnel and identifying opportunities for bulk or upsell deals.
- You communicate clearly, capturing attention with your written correspondence, and are skilled at actively listening to clients' needs and addressing their concerns.
- You have proven ability in closing sales, having successfully met or exceeded sales quotas in your past roles.
It would be nice if
- You have prior experience in selling physical hardware products.
- You're skilled in design software like Illustrator, Photoshop, Inkscape, or CAD programs.
- You've had the excitement of working in a startup or a rapidly growing technology company.
- You harbor a passion for making things, whether it's through knitting, woodworking, 3D printing, or another form of craftsmanship.
- You have used HubSpot CRM in past roles and can leverage its functionalities to enhance customer interactions.

At Glowforge we care deeply about equitable and fair pay. The pay range for this role is $71,673 to $75,219 with a total target earning of about $130,249 including commission, plus stock options and a bonus plan.
